February's Textures Challenge

As some of us are getting very (in some cases totally!!) addicted to textures - we decided to do a monthly challenge. I sent one of my photos for us to play with.

Well - OMG - what fabulous photos you have all sent! It is amazing to see everyone's different effects on the same photo and each of them is so beautiful! Feast your eyes on these works of art (in no particular order!)

Textures!

WOW, had such a fantastic response to my textured work and so many of you have now become addicted to them lol! I told you and warned you all that you would get hooked!! Aren't they fantastic?

Photos with Textures

After posting a few of my photos with textures on the gallery at Jessica Sprague, I got asked for a tutorial on how I do this. I created a onea ges ago which I am adding to this post. I really just tend to play around adding different textures to a photo, going through the blend modes, re-arranging the order of the textures, changing hue and saturation. That's all there is to it! Hopefully my tutorial will help you out a bit. Otherwise please contact me if you need further help!
